Eager to cut loose and enjoy some live music during your Ocean City vacation? Well, if your visit is scheduled for mid-May, you’re in luck! Boardwalk Rock in Ocean City is a brand-new music festival that’s set to kick off this year.

Boardwalk Rock in Ocean City: Basic Information
Boardwalk Rock is a two-day event, scheduled for May 17th and May 18th, 2025. Saturday’s first act hits the stage at 12:30 PM, and things will wrap up when day-one headliner Def Leppard concludes their performance around 11:00 PM. Day two kicks off at 12:15 and finishes with day-two headliner Nickelback hits the last chord around 11:00 PM.
The concert takes place at the Ocean Inlet Lot, conveniently located near the Ocean City Boardwalk and the beach. You can check out a live webcam of the parking lot if you like, to get a better feel for the location.
will feature three stages in total: one on the boardwalk and two on the beach. The time slots are somewhat staggered, but there is plenty of overlap, so you’ll want to check out the schedule for day one and day two to make sure you see your favorites.

Ocean City’s Boardwalk Rock: Tickets and Packages
There are a variety of ticket packages available for Boardwalk Rock, allowing you to select exactly the kind of concert experience you’d enjoy most. You can buy tickets for a single day or for the entire two-day festival.
The five ticket levels available include:
General Admission
General admission tickets grant you access to the festival, including the opportunity to see all of the acts scheduled during the day(s) of your ticket, as well as access to the vendors located within the festival grounds.
- One-day GA tickets start at $165 (with no hidden fees)
- Two-day GA tickets start at $250 (with no hidden fees)
General Admission Plus (GA+)
General admission plus (GA+) tickets provide everything that general admission tickets do, as well as access to a private, shaded lounge, complete with seating, air-conditioned restrooms, concierge service, free water, and a private bar with drinks available for purchase.
- One-day GA+ tickets start at $300 (with no hidden fees)
- Two-day GA+ tickets start at $390 (with no hidden fees)
VIP Tickets
VIP tickets provide access to everything GA+ tickets do, as well as access to dedicated viewing areas at every stage, including a viewing platform at the Main Stage that provides elevated sightlines of the stage. You’ll also be provided with access to two VIP lounges featuring a private bar with drinks available for purchase, air-conditioned restrooms, relaxed seating, and the chance to rent lockers and mobile charging units.
- One-day VIP tickets start at $510 (with no hidden fees)
- Two-day VIP tickets start at $745 (with no hidden fees)
Platinum Tickets
Platinum tickets provide access to everything VIP tickets do, as well as front-of-stage viewing at all of the stages, two platinum bars with complimentary full-service bars and all-day dining, air-conditioned restrooms, complimentary lockers and mobile charging units, and a dedicated festival entry lane.
- One-day platinum tickets start at $960 (with no hidden fees)
- Two-day platinum tickets start at $1,750 (with no hidden fees)
Two-Day Ultimate Package
The two-day ultimate package comes with everything two-day platinum tickets do, as well as exclusive front-of-stage viewing, exclusive on-stage viewing at the main stage and second stage (pending artist approval; does not apply to headliners), front-of-house soundboard viewing at the main stage and second stage (pending artist approval; does not apply to headliners), golf cart transportation, access to artist bar, exclusive ultimate festival gift.
Note that access to the exclusive areas provided by the Ultimate Package requires a ticket, regardless of the guest’s age. In other words, children, no matter how young, are not provided with free access.
- Two-day ultimate package tickets start at $3,950
Waitlist Available
Currently, several of the ticket packages (including the two-day ultimate package) are sold-out. You can, however, be added to a waitlist. There is a $20 processing fee for joining the waitlist.
Boardwalk Rock: Nearby Attractions, Food, and More
One of the coolest things about the Boardwalk Rock festival is that it will feature a number of local businesses inside the festival’s footprint. You’ll be able to visit several bars, restaurants, and variety shops without having to exit the festival. Jolly Roger at the Pier, an Ocean City icon, featuring amusement park rides, games, and more, will even be located within the festival grounds.

Yes. You are permitted to exit and re-enter as many times as you would like, until 7:00 PM each day.
There are several entrances for the festival. You can enter and exit at any of the following streets:
- N. Division St.
- Caroline St.
- Talbot St.
- Somerset St.
- Wicomico St.
- Worcester St.
- S. Division St
Yes, you can drive to the event, but parking will likely be limited, so other forms of travel are recommended. You can easily walk to the festival from our Belmont Tower 707 property, or ride the Beach Bus Shuttle from most of Ocean City. You can also use any of the major rideshare platforms or even ride a bike to the venue (bike parking is available).
